The great outdoors Crows Nest is surrounded by natural beauty. Consider Ravensbourne National Park, down the hill from Hampton; Crows Nest Falls and the Valley of Diamonds; and the "three lakes" - Cooby, Cressbrook and Perseverance. Ravensbourne offers rainforest walks, while the trail to the Falls is more open and bushy. Lakes Cooby and Cressbrook offer great fishing as well as water sports; at Perseverance try abseiling down the steeper slopes. All three dams are within easy reach of Crows Nest township and have childrens playgrounds and barbecue facilities. |

For group bookings, call the society on +61 7 46987011. Located by the New England Highway just north of the town centre, Carbethon is a unique glimpse into yesteryear. |
